The Long and Short of it

Most of you reading this know me, and those who choose to read on, will get to know me :)
If it’s on my mind it’s out of my mouth, or in this case, in my blogs! These blogs are nothing personal, just my opinions and musings on the state of our (fashion) world as seen through the eyes of a woman who has been helping other women achieve the best they can be through expressing their personal style!

With that being said, I would like to talk about something I feel very strongly about; the Capri pant! I just don’t get it, are they really short pants, or are they really long shorts? The one thing I do get, is that they flatter no one! and gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
and run my stick along the public railings [Read more...]

Spring Fashion is here. What is your favorite this year?

It is said you are what you eat…I say, you are what you wear!

Will I choose short hair, long, bangs? Will I follow the trends or be a trendsetter? Some of us are born to be little fashionistas, we see it in our daughter’s when they are just 3 and she wants pretty frilly dresses and will wear nothing else, our nieces who wants her hair short and will only wear jeans and sweatshirts, our son who at 4 wants to wear a bowtie to school …

Are these children reading fashion magazines? Maybe, but most likely not, this shows us we are somewhat hardwired to like what we like (some of us have the confidence from birth to just go for it). Not unlike food where some of us prefer salty to sweet, etc… [Read more...]
